Carrying on the knitting tradition from Daily Record
here has been a family run yarn shop in Morristown for at least 40 years, dating back to Mimi's Lounge, upstairs on DeHart Street. After Mimi's closed, there was Knit One Purl Too on The Green. When that shop closed in the spring of 1998, Hope Blazer convinced her husband, Barry, that despite the declining level of interest in knitting, Morristown still needed a yarn shop that, unlike craft stores, provided personalized customer assistance. They opened Accents On Knits at 36 Speedwell Ave. that summer. This month, Accents On Knits, the only yarn shop in the Morristown market, celebrates its 10th anniversary.
