Fond du Lac area needle arts group members keep each other in stitches

Knitters and crocheters throughout the Fond du Lac area have discovered novel ways to fine-tune their skills, enjoy each other's company and do a world of good for others, all at the same time. Advertisement For many crafters, needle-arts provide relaxation, recreation and an opportunity to make valuable donations and raise money for charitable causes. In most cases, the objects of their skills will be donated to children and families they will never meet. In at least one group, there is even time to pray while knitting prayer shawls destined for recipients at Hospice Home of Hope and St. Agnes Hospital. A sampling of needle-arts organizations in the Fond du Lac area is featured here. Many other groups are at work in neighboring counties and around the state.
